Hi! I’m Jayla Breland, a Mass Communication student at North Carolina Central University with a passion for sports media, broadcasting, and storytelling. As an aspiring sports journalist and interviewer, I love connecting with people, sharing their stories, and learning from the experiences of others.
Outside of the classroom, I serve as President of Black Women in Sports at NCCU and continue to gain hands-on experience through interviews, content creation, and opportunities within the sports industry.
Through this blog, I hope to share my experiences, lessons learned, and the moments that shape my journey as I navigate college, leadership, and my future career in sports media. My goal is to inspire others to embrace new opportunities, build meaningful connections, and never stop pursuing their passions!
